Hip Flask In Glasgow
I may be a Belfast boy but I’ve spent many amazing years in Scotland. The level of whisky knowledge in Glasgow is phenomenal, but I noticed that there wasn’t a decent hip flask worthy of the experts. I started SWIG Flasks from my bedroom to produce a flask which could stand up to the quality, dedication and artistry of the scotch.
I was keen to combine Scottish tradition and crafts with my SWIGs, if a hip flask was going to be worthy of the name best hip flask in Glasgow, I knew it had to represent the amazing culture there. I have two Scottish pouches for my SWIGs, the Harris Tweed and the Scottish Heritage. The tweed is from the Isle of Harris, and the Scottish Heritage is hand-made by an amazing artisan in the Western Highlands. His is truly a rare art, and his dedication in keeping the skills alive in western Scotland is remarkable.
